Gear

Jackets, Waders and Boots off

Due to the diverse weather conditions we face in the Patagonia, we suggest you bring the following clothing:

  1. Good quality Gore-tex® (or other breathable material) jacket for wind and rain protection
  2. Breathable, stocking-foot waders with high-grade, felt-soled wading boots with good ankle support for walking on uneven terrain
  3. Wading staffs for balance and support
  4. Wading belts for added buoyancy and safety

Spiked boots are best left home as they are hard on the floors of our rafts and boats.

Clothing Recommendations

Proper clothing and packing are very important for your trip. Keep in mind the airline allows two bags per person, so packing equipment and gear efficiently is important.
